Booking Terms & Conditions
Cinedrone ("we", "us", "our") operates cinedrone.co.uk.
1. The service
We provide aerial and cinematic ground B-Roll footage on demand across Scotland. By placing an order, you confirm you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Ordering
Orders are placed by submitting a shot brief and completing payment via Stripe. We do not begin shooting until payment is confirmed. Shot lists submitted after payment cannot be materially altered without our agreement.
3. Turnaround
Our standard turnaround is 5–7 working days from payment confirmation, subject to weather. Scotland's weather is inherently variable. If a significant delay is unavoidable, we will contact you within 24 hours. We do not guarantee delivery dates for weather-dependent shoots. We will not issue refunds solely because of weather-related delays communicated in good faith.
4. Revisions
Each package includes a revision round as specified on the packages page. A revision means we will reshoot a clip that materially deviates from your brief. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. We are not obligated to reshoot clips that match the brief but do not meet unstated preferences.
5. Ownership and licensing
We retain full copyright in all footage. Completing an order grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the delivered clips for the production specified at checkout — including broadcast, streaming, advertising, and online distribution. Redistribution or resale of raw or minimally processed clips to third parties is not permitted without our prior written consent. Licence rights do not transfer if the order is assigned to a third party without our agreement.
6. Payment
All prices are quoted excluding VAT. VAT at the prevailing UK rate is added at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. Invoices for bespoke orders are payable within 30 days of issue.
7. Cancellation
Orders cancelled before shooting begins: full refund less a 5% processing fee. Orders cancelled after shooting has commenced: no refund. We reserve the right to cancel an order we cannot fulfil (e.g. due to access restrictions, CAA airspace closure, or sustained adverse weather) and will issue a full refund in that event.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or consequential damages arising from delays, non-delivery, or footage not meeting expectations beyond what is described in the brief.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
